WASHINGTON (ABC7) — Makeup is often seen as a beauty product reserved only for females, but beauty holds no limits. Shun Pittman, owner of D.C. salon Corps d’Elite, says many men have adopted their own style routines with the fast-growing male beauty industry.
“We’re not talking drag makeup; that’s the opposite end of the spectrum,” Pittman said. “We’re talking about makeup that’s helping men bring their hotness back.”
The male makeup trend is growing widespread and becoming more accepted, according to the makeup artist. From brow grooming to “guy liner,” more men are adopting beauty routines, visiting salons and applying makeup.
